Steven Rogers Steve is a founder and principal with Redstones focussing on the strategic alignment process required to achieve alignment of the business objectives, the competitive strategies and the employees individual objectives. Steve has extensive experience in high tech due diligence work supporting M&A teams where testing the strategic alignment of an organization is an indicator of their chances of success. His accomplishments include:
- Led a $1B division of a major telecom equipment manufacturer. He had full P&L resposibility, over 700 employees, and an R&D budget of $120M.
- Led a major vendor to market penetration of the Peoples Republic of China.
- Grew a business from $40M to $200M in 3 years by increasing market share from less than 5% to 25%.
- Led the team that redesigned the national telecom transmission network in South Korea.
Steve held various executive positions during his 25 years with Nortel, including network design, marketing, product management and general management. He has lived and worked in Europe, Asia, Canada and the USA. He was also a founder of start-ups in the powerline communications, telecom chip and internet security businesses.
